As the name implies, the plug-in hybrid powertrain will drive all four wheels. The front wheels are powered by a combination of a 147 kW turbocharged petrol engine, an eight-speed automatic transmission and an 80 kW electric motor, and an 80 kW electric motor also drives the wheels on the rear axle. Together, they develop a system power of 300 HP and a torque of 450 NM, which is enough for acceleration up to 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds.
The driver will have the possibility to choose between four driving modes. In Zero emission mode, the car will always be driven by electric motors, the Sport mode will try to maximize power, Hybrid mode will work to minimize emissions and 4WD will ensure good grip in all driving conditions.
The electric motors will take power from a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 13.2 kWh, which will allow for a good 50 kilometers of electric driving at speeds of up to 135 kilometers per hour (according to WLTP cycle). Charging the battery will take a good 2 hours on a 6,6 kW wall box and eight hours at the 8 A household network.
