Honda used a Tokio Motor Show to introduce two versions of electrified scooters: first one is battery electric driven and the other has a hybrid powertrain.

The electric scooter will of course be solely electric driven. Electricity will be stored in two batteries, which will be stored under the seat and will be easily replacable. The hybrid model will be driven by a combination of petrol engine and electric motor. Honda did not reveal much detail but they said that both components of the powertrain will be very compact.

We can expect both scooters to hit the road in 2018, but unfortunately they will be only available in Asia and Japan.
