Hyundai ix35 Fuel Cell has become the first series automobile with fuel cells to be commercially available in UK.

Hyundai introduced the ix35 Fuel Cell back in 2012 announced plans to sell around 10000 units of a car driven by hydrogen fuel cells by 2015. While such a plan did not become exact reality, since 2013 Hyundai provided various organisations and companies around Europe with the ix35 Fuel Cell.

Now, also general public can buy this product in Great Britain and the price has been set at GBP 53,105, (EUR 72,727). A UK government subsidy of GBP15,000 (EUR 20,542) is available to UK customers.
