The new Mercedes will not be just a first electric SUV from the german car maker, but also the first car with a dedicated EQC electric powertrain. Daimler also teased the new car on Twitter, where they showed a partial image of a new car but with too little information for us to be able to speculate something about its design.
.@MercedesBenz is flipping the switch: On September 4th, we will present our first all-#electric #MercedesBenz model of our new product and technology brand EQ. Here’s the very first design detail. Stay tuned!

Also technical details will stay secret until the unveiling in Stockholm, but we can predict some very optimistic details. Electric power, which will probably be stored in a lithium-ion battery with the capacity of 70 kWh, will be enough for about 500 kilometers of electric drive and there will be variants with two and four wheel drive. But the exact details will be published on September 4th.
