As Elon Musk stated, you will be able to secure your Tesla 3 by ordering it on the day of the big reveal, if you happen to live near one of Tesla's American stores, or you could also place an order online the day after.
With its third, (relatively) affordable electric model, Tesla wishes to approach a wider audience. It is speculated that the EV is to be priced at around 40,000 euros, which is all but a low price for the masses. With Model 3, however,Tesla Motors is in fact offering something way below the ranks of Tesla S and Tesla X; something that is more in the line of BMW Series 3, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, Audi A4, Jaguar XE or perhaps Lexus IS.
Tesla Motors will deliver its first units of Model 3 sometime next year, when rivals such as similarly-priced Chevrolet Bolt and its European cousin Opel/Vauxhall Ampera E will also become available on the market.
