At the Geneva Motor Show, Renault showcased its ZOE e-sport 2-seater concept, moving the electric La Petite onto a racing track. Equipped with two electric motors, ZOE e-sport concept can deliver a total power output of 340 kW and 640 Nm of torque!

The motorized ZOE e-sport only requires 3.2 seconds to accelerate to 100 kph, while it takes it less than 10 seconds to reach 200 kph. Helping it achieve such results is the lightweight body structure, which is made of carbon fibre. The car weighs just 1,400kg, including the new New Z.E.40 battery (450kg) with capacity of 40 kW and an air-and-water cooling system to keep it – and control systems – operating at the ideal temperature. The engineers lowered the ride height and gave the car wider tracks, a four wheel drive, double-wishbone suspension, 20-inch wheels, bigger brakes and Öhlins four-way adjustable dampers.

As hinted by the Satin Blue with flashes of yellow on the door mirror and the front and rear bumper beading, ZOE e-sport concept easily reveals Renault's connection to Formula E, as this is the colour scheme inspired by the reigning champion Renault e.dams team's 2016/2017 livery. ZOE e-sport's powertrain also takes after technologies developed by engineers at Renault Sport Racing and Renault e.dams.
