Volvo Car Group will take a significant minority share in sibling brand Lynk & Co, which will also make use of Volvo's technology and dealer network when it comes to European and US market in 2019.

The majority share of 50 percent will stay in the hands of Volvo's Chinese parent company Zheijang Geely Holding and the rest will be divided between Volvo and Geely Automobile. Both companies also co-developed the compact modular architecture that will underpin forthcoming Lynk & Co models, which will include 01 crossover and 03 sedan.
