The elegant, visually perfected wooden frame, a wide handlebar, a great, comfy seat - Woodsterbike is not merely a bicycle, it is a unique fashion accessory, bound to attract attention.

Once you hop on Woodster it's like getting all cuddly in your favourite armchair. It only takes a few meters of riding it to know that when its designer Iztok Mohorič named it ''cruiser'', he couldn't have picked a more suitable thing to say. Woodster's ergonomic shape and shock absorbing design makes you sit in the right position. Your spine will never know you've just made 15 kilometers on that bike. Or even more.

Despite the wooden frame is hollow, it's not as light as it may appear. An attractive bicycle basket at the front is a nice touch, complementing the stylish overall look of the city charmer, but is not large enough to play host to a bag or a purse. Therefore, it is advisable to have all your personal belongings put in a rucksack, while the basket is used to carry fruit or flowers from the market.  Or perhaps your favourite book?

If your daytrip extends into a night one, be sure to have a flashlight or something similar at hand - Woodster namely isn't equipped with any lights. It also lacks fenders, so do avoid riding through puddles. Come to think of it, neither of these things would look good on Woodster anyway. Because it is not merely a bicycle, it is a unique fashion accessory, one you would never leave out in the rain. A few raindrops wouldn't hurt it, but better keep it dry and safe from downpour.

Exploring the city streets on Woodster, a crafty means of green transport that takes 20 hours to produce, made me realize I don't even need a lock. because Woodster also isn't a bicycle you would lock and leave there all alone while you're out, having a pint or a cup of coffee. Really, you wouldn't want it to leave your sight. It would almost be a sin to park it in your home bicycle shed (quite frankly, it doesn't even belong there), so it's probably best to just keep it in your apartment and make it a display item. Because that's what it is.

Heads will turn behind you and people will talk about that dazzling thing that just passed them, so forget all about Woodster if being in the spotlight isn't your thing. You just won't be able to avoid it.
