At the CES, Netflix announced it is expanding its services all over the world!

Netflix, the world's leading Internet TV Service that was successfully launched in 2007, made the announcement at CES 2016 and the streaming service went live simultaneously for the first time in additional 130 countries.

During the keynote at CES 2016, Co-founder and Chief Executive Reed Hastings said that we are now witnessing the birth of a new global Internet TV network. "With this launch," he added, "consumers around the world - from Singapore to St. Petersburg, from San Francisco to Sao Paulo - will be able to enjoy TV shows and movies simultaneously with no more waiting. With the help of the Internet, we are putting power in consumers' hands to watch whenever, wherever and on whatever device."

Netflix currently boasts 70 million members in over 190 countries who are able to enjoy over 125 million hours of TV programme every single day. For a monthly subscription (the amount depends on selected scheme), members are able to watch Netflix original TV productions as well as licensed TV shows, movies and documentaries. Beside English, members can choose from 21 languages, with more being added in the future.

In their press release, Netflix stated that 2016 will see the company release "31 new and returning original series, two dozen original feature films and documentaries, a wide range of stand-up comedy specials and 30 original kids series - available at the same time to members everywhere."

The beauty of Netflix for all cineasts lies in the fact that you can actually watch as much as you want, anytime, anywhere, on nearly any Internet-connected screen (TV, tablet, computer, etc). Members can play, pause and resume watching, all without commercials or commitments.

Due to U.S. government restrictions on American companies, Netflix streaming service will not yet be available in China, Crimea, North Korea and Syria.

There is a one-month free trial period available for you to check out by signing up at Netflix's website.
