Perhaps best known for its legendary Vespa Scooter, Piaggio also has a new company branch Piaggio Fast Forwad that just launched Gita, its first official product. Gita is a 26 inch tall light vehicle that can carry up to 40 lbs.; its name means 'short journey' in Italian. It dubs as your everyday assistant designed to help people go about more freely and productively through life.

The beautifully shaped, rounded blue cargo bot travels on wheels and has a spacious compartment that with a press of a button neatly opens and offers safe storage for everything you'd otherwise have to carry yourself. Be it personal belongings, valuables, shopping bags, it all fits inside.

Gita was designed to follow you (either follow your movements or operate travel autonomously in a mapped environment), so she can move at different speeds - she can go slowly or very fast, depending on how fast you are. She can move on various terrains, indoors or outdoors.

It is equipped with a circular display, so you can always check battery levels and charging progress, but it also indicates other general notifications.

Gita also has an older 'brother' called Kilo that is capable of carrying up to 250 pounds and larger pieces of cargo.
