You had the most amazing night of your life, but you (somehow) don't remember anything that happened? No need to worry, here is a brand new, mobile connected social glass, making sure you never forget anything again.
SipSup is a uniquely designed social glass, with a tall, curved shape, designed to fit naturally in the drinker's hand. Due to its fits-all-purposes shape you can use the 4.7 dl (16 oz.) glass for drinking coffee, smoothies, mojitos, or even cold beer. Just another fancy pancy glass then? Not quite so.
What makes it special and very popular on all major social networks is the specialized NFC chip (Near Field Communication technology for Android phones) and Visual ID (for iOS phones) in the SipSup logo, which is placed visibly on the side of the SipSup glass. In order to activate the SipSup app, user only has to scan the SipSup logo on the chip and activate it. Activation is possible in the range of up to 5cm (0.4 inches). NFC chip has no battery, which means no charging. It has a lifespan of up to 10 years.
Users can drag and drop photos (resembling a drop falling into the water) to be recalled in the future through a custom mobile application. Every NFC chip or visual ID on SipSup has a unique ID that can recognize its owner's smartphone, which also makes it possible to divide your content into public and private sectors. You can, for example, snap some photos, upload them, set them to public and the next morning all your friends with the SipSup app will all be able to recall the best moments of your last night's party.
SipSup glasses are uniquely designed in collaboration with local Slovenian glassworks, Steklarna Hrastnik. The glass is free of heavy metals, yet crystal brilliant, and comes with a Vitrux certificate, guaranteeing 10 times longer durability of the glass. It can endure temperatures up to 150°C (302°F) and can be washed in a dishwasher up to 3000 times, so rest assured – your photo memories will be kept safe.
The 42–day Kickstarter campaign with a funding goal of 30,000 USD that will be used to begin mass production and app development has been already launched, so be sure to check it out.
