Festival season is approaching rapidly. Would you care to spend a night in the latest outdoor invention, the most expensive tent in the world?

Dubbed 'The Maverick', the tent is specially designed for extreme conditions, for use at mountain base camps and even in the hard wilderness of Alaska. But, if you prefer, you can take it to the seaside instead. Made from flexible thermoplastic polyurethane and resistant polyester, this tent can survive winds of up to 180 kilometers per hour.

The Maverick, which was designed by the German company Heimplanet, uses an inflatable diamond grid technology and a patented Multi Chamber Safety System. The camper can remove one of the tubes should it puncture, without the rest of the structure deflating.

With a huge floor space of 13.2 square meters you will also feel pretty comfortable standing inside of it, as it measures 2 meters in hight. The tent can be easily erected by just one person and a pump in a matter of minutes. The same applies for when it's taken down.

All well and good, except for the price. Are you curious? It comes to £3,800! Really recommendable for hardcore campers with hefty amounts of cash only.
