
If there's one thing you hate having to deal with as a driver - it's parking. When in a hurry, will you take a handicap spot? Not after you see this, you won't!
In Russia, more than 30% of drivers disregard the signage that's painted on the ground and park-in handicapped spots. To combat this, the advertising agency Bird Strategy added nifty little surprise to some of the parking spaces in question.
Working with disability-rights advocacy group Dislife, they sought to confront these offenders in a clever and impactful campaign that was installed in shopping centers around Russia. Dislife rigged up a camera to recognize the state-issued placard on a windshield when a car pull into a disabled parking spot. If no placard was detected, a hologram of a man in wheelchair appeared.
