The man who drew The Little Mermaid's Ariel, Aladdin, Pocahontas and even the Beast is now using the latest tool for digital artistry. And he is damn good at it.

The legendary Disney animator, Glen Keane, is turning from pencil and paper to motion controller and VR headset. In a video posted to Vimeo by the Future of Storytelling conference, Keane uses HTC and Valve's virtual reality headset with the drawing program "TiltBrush". The result is just amazing. He can walk around his characters as he paints them into existence.

Even if he is still learning the ropes of VR, he's doing a mighty fine job, right?
