The heat is on at the Geneva Palexpo!

The world's most prestigious car show featuring world premieres in car industry and an international car exposition, the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, is taking place 3 - 13 March 2016, but fans already had the opportunity to see some of the upcoming superstars during Monday night's preview events, including the absolutely fabulous £1.9m Bugatti Chiron hypercar and the awe-inspiring Aston Martin DB11.

What green cars are we expecting to see this year? Here are some highligts among the electric and hybrid vehicles you wouldn't want to miss out on.

Quant FE, the electric coupe with a permanent allwheel drive, an automatic twospeed transmission, and a peak output of 1,090 bhp.

QUANTiNO, a low-voltage all-electric prototype with nanoFlowcell® powertrain.

The production version of Concept-One with Rimac All Wheel Torque Vectoring System and a myriad of new, innovative, in-house developed technologies.

Suzuki Baleno Hybrid, a 5-door city car, saving about 0.5 litres of petrol per 100 km.

Lexus LF-FC hydrogen fuel-cell electric powertrain and fourwheel drive.

The all-electric fun and quirky four-seater Citroën E-Mehari.

The highly anticipated all-electric seven-seater SUV, Tesla Model X.
