A revolutionary digital smart pen digitizes your notes and doodles in real-time, and it doesn't even require any special, purpose-built surface. You can write them on anything and they'll pretty much instantaneously appear on your smartphone screen.
Normally, writing with pens on touch screen devices is nothing short of an awkward misspelling circus. Pens, even though they do come in all possible shapes, materials and sizes, are a bit uncomfortable to hold as well. Phree is coming soon to make all the difference!
This digital pen makes it possible for you to write on any surface and your scribbling will instantly appear on your smartphone, tablet, computer or TV screen connected via Bluetooth. It features what is said to be the world's smallest 3D laser interferometer, which tracks motion by measuring the reflection of laser on a surface.
Phree is to be compatible with all of the major productivity apps like Office, OneNote, EverNote, Acrobat, Google Handwriting Keyboard, Viber, and many others. In fact, the company stated it will pair with anything that has a Bluetooth connection.
Smart pen also features an OLED touch display. It shows notifications, text messages and calls from a Bluetooth-connected device. Not impressed yet? It also has a built-in microphone and speaker that enable it to double up as a Bluetooth headset to answer those calls.
According to creators of Phree, the battery is supposed to last for a week, if you don't overuse it. It will take up to one hour to charge from fully discharged to fully charged.
And how much will it cost you? It is expected to retail for 169 USD.
