Approximately 130 cars and 93 motorcycles (but who can really keep count, right?), including a 1969 Lamborghini Miura S, a legendary McLaren F1, a 1954 Jaguar XK120M Coupe and a 1906 Stanley Steamer Cup Racer. This is Jay Leno's car collection with every single car in the garage officially licenced and legal to drive.
And this is why Jay Leno, the former Tonight Show host and a world-renowned comedian, is also our guest columnist in the currently available issue of Plugin magazine.
The shamelessly impressive automotive heaven is called the "Big Dog Collection" found its safe haven in a series of large hangars at the Burbank Airport. It is said Leno himself is the one in charge of caring after his automobiles, but is, of course, assisted by a team of mechanics, who make sure the vehicles are always ready for an adventurous spin around Hollywood. Despite the fact his head-turning drives almost never go unnoticed, Leno is all but proverbially Hollywood-ish.
The man with the most awe-inspiring collection of vintage cars in the world took the time to think about what electric cars mean to him and share his thoughts on the matter with the readers of the English and German edition of Plugin magazine (out now!).
