First to see it are going to be journalists in China.

Recently, Audi is focusing on electric concepts and cars, which are often quite production-ready or at least they look near that stage. Most of the time, however, these are either sporty four-door coupes or crossovers. And while they are maybe the most attractive looking, Audi is also focusing on more ordinary cars, hatchback. In this case, we are talking about Audi AI:Me.

While there is not much known about it yet – to this moment, Audi has only revealed three drawings, related to the car – mentioned concept is only 13 days away from being presented. This should happen on 15th of April on an international car show in Chinese city of Shanghai, and while there is no confirmation about this topic yet, it is going to be built on the same platform, being used by Seat el.Born and VW ID’s, that it platform MEB.

Nevertheless, Audi is describing the upcoming concept as a “the vision of an automated driving compact car for the megacities of tomorrow«. Judging by this, it is safe to say that what we are having here is a concept of (some sort of) autonomus vehicle, which may, suggested by its name, posses at least some sort of artificial inteligence. Still, it may be used as a normal car given the fact, that there is still going to be a steering wheel inside the cocpit.
