The first country in line is Norway - Norwegians can put down a deposit of 20,000 kroner (roughly a little less than $3,000) and reserve their all-electric SUV Audi e-tron quattro that will most likely be up to the task, when it comes to securing an all-electric range of over 500 kilometers (or 310 miles) with the help of a powerful 95 kWh battery.
To refresh your memory a little, Audi e-tron quattro, being 4.88 meters long, 1.93 meters wide and 1.54 meters high, will boast a total power output of 320 kw/435 hp. Engaging "boost function" will make it reach numbers as high as 370 kW/503 hp. There will be three electric motors, two for rear wheels and one for front axle. It will accelerate from 0 to 100 km in 4.6 seconds and reach top speed (electronically limited) at 210 km/h.
Audi's new all-electric SUV will be produced in Brussels, Belgium from 2018 on. There, the company will also build the vehicle's batteries.
