At the CES in Las Vegas, Audi confirmed they are preparing their first all-electric car. Audi Q6 E-Tron is reportedly going on sale in two years.

According to Audi's statement in Las Vegas, they intend to use a part of their 3 billion dollar investment in expansion of business fields in 2016 for developing a new, all-electric model. It will be based on the Audi E-Tron concept that was first seen at the Frankfurt Auto Show. It was also introduced in Nevada.

Audi plans to expand their offer to 60 new models available by 2020, with the first two novices being the upgraded Audi Q5 and a brand new crossover, confirmed to be called Audi Q2.
