In the beginning of September, BMW is preparing a five-day tour, during which it will present its next electric and highly autonomous car nowhere else like in an airplane.

For the purpose of the presentation tour, which will take place from 9 to 15 September in Munich, New York, San Francisco and Beijing, Lufthansa's technicians will arrange a Boeing 777F cargo plane. Preparations are fairly extensive, as technicians will have to put 7.5 kilometers of wires during the preparation of the showroom in the aircraft. They will also install 78,000 LEDs and 165 LED video modules, and the interior will be illuminated by 13,000 light-projectors. At the very place of the presentation, there will always be very little time, as it will take eight hours for the preparation of the showroom, and four hours for the preparation of the aircraft for the flight after the event.

According to BMW iNext is BMW's mobile forecast of the future, so its presentation to the global audience must also take place in a "fresh new style". The exterior of the Boeing 777F will also be decorated with a special scheme that will reflect the interior arrangement.
