But it is just the beginning of Chevrolet's trials, because in November at SEMA show they promised, that eCOPO Camaro will manage quarter-mile in just 9 seconds.

Let's repeat some basic facts about the Chevrolet eCOPO Camaro. It is driven by two electric motors with a system power of 550 kW and 813 NM of torque, which are connected to a rear axle via conventional racing-prepared Turbo 400 automatic transmission.

Electricity is stored in a 32 kWh battery pack and the system works with 800 V voltage for more efficient power transfer to an electric motor and faster recharging.
