One of the largest Volvo Car dealer groups in the UK, Endeavour Automotive, will also operate an electric taxi franchise from Chiswick. From August they will be selling LEVC TX electric black taxis.
As LEVC claims, with new TX they completely redesigned traditional black taxi with the customer in mind since it offers its customers premium experience in electrically dirven vehicle. On board they can use wi-fi connection and they can also charge their phones and laptops. Taxis offer comfortable space for up to six passengers and are also accessible to wheelchairs.
LEVC TX taxis are powered by a combination of powerful battery, electromotor and range extender in the shape of small petrol engine, so called eCity technology, which gives driver upto 377 miles of autonomy.
