At the IAA commercial vehicles show in Hannover, Chinese brand Maxus will put four variants of its EV80 battery electric vans on the stand.

The subsidiary of China largest vehicle manufacturer SAIC Motor will show chassis-cab, standard panel van, high panel van and wheelchair accessible variants of the electric van, which, as they say, will feature newly-enhanced styling of the interior and exterior.

All variants will be equipped with the same plug-in powertrain and LiFePO4 Lithium-Ion battery, which will give vehicles up to 200 kilometers of electric reach. The charging time of the battery will take just two hours on DC charger. There will also be a possibility of slow AC charging.

Maxus EV80 is already available in certain European countries with initial deliveries made to customers in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands. Other countries will follow as soon as Maxus accelerates its European business plans.
