In the Saturday's first race of the Formula E double-header in Berlin, Felix Rosenqvist has managed to hunt down pole sitter Lucas di Grassi and secure his first win and first win for his Mahindra team.

Rosenqvist started third, quickly dispatched Jose Maria Lopez and then set his sights on di Grassi. Brazilian had big set-up problems in practice but still managed to get pole by just 0.001 second, but had to finally settle for third in the race as overheating battery stopped him from managing his energy and regenerating effectively. Second Mahindra driver Nick Heidfeld managed third again, and Lopez had to settle for fourth. As championship leader Buemi was disqualified after the race for too low tire pressure, di Grassi is now only 22 points behind him.

Second race of the double-header weekend on Tempelhof airport racetrack will take place today at 16.00.
