At the Frankfurt motor show BMW will prepare a preview of future fully electric Mini, which is bound to hit the road in 2019.

The Frankfurt concept will reveal upcoming Mini's facade, overall design and also technical specifications. We already know that the car willl be based on the three door version of basic Mini and will have the range of at least 400 kilometers.

We can also mention, that some time ago BMW Group chairman Harald Krüger in an interview for Autocar said, that they plan to sell up to 500.000 electric vehicles by 2025. Electric Mini will certainly play importanmt role in their effort as well as electric BMW X3, which will come in 2020, and self-driving electric iNext, which is planed for 2021.
