BMW Italia, the Italian importer of the Bavarian car manufacturer, delivered four electrics BMW i3 cars and six BMW C Evolution scooters to be used during the EXPO 2015 world exhibition.

The delivery took place as a conclusion to the Italian's government competition open to various manufacturers for an official car and scooter of the world exhibition in Milan. Cars and scooters in official colours of the Italian police were provided by BMW Italia free of charge. As well as two charging stations, which were also complimentary.

Although all vehicles are to be used in Milan, Sergio Solero, president of BMW Italia handed them over to Angelino Alfano, the Italian internal affairs minister and Alessandro Panso, the police commissioner, at the interior ministry palace Viminale in Rome.
