Entry into WTCR Championship, where Lynk & Co 03 TCR will be competing with dangerous opponents from Audi, Alfa Romeo, Honda, Hyundai, Peugeot, Seat and Volkswagen, will be just the first step in the development of a sports electric road car ,  with a power of about 370 kilowatts. At first, it will be presented as a Lynk & Co 03 Cyan concept car, which will interpret Cyan Racing vision of a civilian version of the TCR racing car, but later we can expect a production sports car.

Lynk & Co 03 TCR will be the first racing car of the new brand, but will not come out of the white paper, as it will greatly benefit from the experience of sister brand Volvo, which can show a rich racing history, and from twenty years of the Cyan Racing team's experience,.

The car was unveiled at the Fuji Raceway racing circuit in Japan by the Swedish racer Thed Björk, who will also be driving one of the Lynk & Co 03 TCR racing cars.
