At the international 2017 Shanghai Auto Show, the new automotive brand Lynk & Co will showcase the production ready version of the Lynk & Co 01 crossover as well as the 03 Concept, a design prototype for their new sedan.
Nothing very specific has been said about the new sedan, as this is still a prototype design, but we may speculate that Volvo's modular platform CMA is used as the technological basis for the new car, and that it will feature some kind of electric powertrain.
As expected, connectivity will be the main focus when it comes to the new sedan, as Lynk & Co's vehicles are already widely recognized as 'smartphones on wheels'. The car will be offered via this innovative Chinese brand's online sales business model, which includes "a unique offer of connected mobility, with the option to share your car, where everything is included."
