In Geneva, McLaren confirmed that the new Hyper-GT, which will belong to Ultimate Series and is due to be introduced by the end of this year, will also be the fastest McLaren untill now. It will exceed 391 kph, the highest speed of McLaren F1.

Hyper-GT, which for now is known only by the working name BP23, will be limited to 106 cars which will start to reach their owners by the second half of 2019. The fastest and most luxurious McLaren up to date will carry three people and will have a hybrid powertrain consisting of petrol engine and electric motors. Driver will be seated in central position, slightly in front of both passangers, which will give him the feeling similar to the one of Formula 1 driver.

The name for the hyper-GT was not chosen yet and will be published shortly before introduction, but it can be certain that it will not carry an alpha-numerical designation but a "real name".

Unfortunately for those, who stil consider buying it, all cars are already sold out. They were actually sold out even before first official news about the car in november 2016.
