Nissan will show a e-NV200 Fridge Concept in Tokio, which will show new possibility of use of an electric van.

They equiped e-NV200 van, which can drive where big refrigerated trucks or vans with internal combustion engines can not, with a refrigerator chamber. The refrigerator working system is made so, that it does not affect the van's range, because in adition to 24 kWh vehicle's battery it uses its own 12 kWh battery to power comporessor unit.

"The e-NV200 Fridge Concept will create huge value for commercial users – generating more business, as well as reducing the cost of ownership. With zero emissions, it'll be perfect for busy urban environments where larger vehicles are often prohibited," said Ashwani Gupta, senior vice president of the Renault-Nissan LCV Business Unit.
