Sweedish-chinese cooperative NEVS - for National Electric Vehicle Sweeden - published basic data about their first electric car, which will be roughly based on the last generation Saab 9-3.

It will not be called Saab though, because company does not have rights to use that name anymore, but will instead get a name NEVS Tianjin, if we can judge from the project. NEVS also signed the contract with chinese leasing company Panda New Energy to produce 150.000 vehicles oh total value of 12 billion US dollars for them.

There are very few data about the new car. We can actually only tell that it will reach 300 kilometers on full charge. The production predictments are more accurate, with 50.000 vehicles planed for the first years of production and 220.000 in later years.
