Based on MEB platform it could be ready in 2022.

Škoda, Czech part of Volkswagen group, which is a bit more budget oriented than other ones is also the fastest growing among the bunch and definitely in no way underdeveloped considering its origins. They have proved that recently with quite a few new models and concepts – even electric ones and since the market for such cars is growing even among not so wealthy buyers, Škoda has no intentions to neglect this type of buyers.

According to Insideev web page, mentioned brand is preparing its third fully electric car, based on VW-group’s modular platform MEB that is among others also going to be used in Volkswagen I.D. and Seat eI-Born. If this really happens, mentioned car could become Škoda’s third electric vehicle and might hit the market sometime around 2022.

“We are looking for a lower-specced car as well. Once we have a positive business case we can come up with a clear solution. We are building on the same platform as VW. We want to do a car equivalent to the ID hatch or El-Born, but it has to be one step after another. We have a clear product target,” was official response from brand on a question whether a third electric model is on the way.
