As we know by now, concept will feature basically the same totaly electric powertrain, we already know from Mercedes EQ subbrand, which is also bound to introduce a new study in Frankfurt. It will probably be a compact electric hatchback, which will eventually serve as BMW i3 competitor.

Smart electric concept will also be the first Smart car to feature CASE coprporation strategy, which stands for 'Connected Autonomous Shared Electric' vehicle.
