Mercedes-Benz released a special, 360-degree interactive video to mark the 60th anniversary of the victory Sir Stirling Moss , co-driven by Denis Jenkinson at the Mille Miglia scored in 1955.

Stirling Moss and Denis Jenkinson won the race on the 1st May 1955, after ten hours, seven minutes and 48 seconds of driving. The itinerary led across ordinary Italian public, and never easy to tackle, roads. Their Mercedes-Benz 300SLR with the starting number 722 covered the distance with an average speed of 160 km/h, still considered as one of the highest motorsport achievements of all times.

Sixty years later, only eight of the majestic W 196 R racing cars are still in existence. Among them, the racer with the 722 starting number that gave Stirling Moss an opportunity for a reunion and to take to the same roads where he won many years ago. And, of course, make the 360-degree short movie, which you can see on the Mercedes-Benz web site. You will be able to "drive" the course and. using your mouse, also change the angle of vision. A three-dimensional soundtrack will further increase the excitement of the experience.

The movie is also available for download through iTunes and Android Store and can be played back on smartphones and tablets.
