Tesla Motors confirmed that they are in fact developing not one, but two financially affordable electric vehicles. We're listening!

Model 3 and Model Y, as known at the moment, are to be priced at less than 30,000 American dollars. Model 3 at least is set to see the light of day in March 2016, while it's not officially confirmed yet, when exactly we'll be able to rejoyce at the sight of Model Y.

As reported before, Model 3 will be the "more accessbile smaller and lower cost sedan." According to website Electrek, it is predicted that the Model Y will actually be a smaller crossover based on Model X, however sharing the same new compact platform that is also featured in Model 3.

Tesla denied this speculation and confirmed only that they are developing their fourth model, based on the same platform as Model S.
