Musk's company is not giving away any details regarding design, nor any technological specifications about the Model 3, but given recent statements, it could be something along the lines of a 20 percent smaller Model S, hitting the market in two separate versions, eventually. The first official concept version of the Model 3 should be introduced in 2016, because, according to Musk himself, they "don't want the delays that affected the X to affect the Model 3. We're really being quite conscientious about this."
Designers at Stumpf Studio, otherwise mainly focusing on industrial design, released a series of unofficial (despite equipped with official logo) concept art for Tesla Model 3, one of the most anticipated vehicles in the world. The studio seems to have imagined it as a sort of a youthful crossover between hatchback and MPV.
The all-electric new player on the market could feature, as per Stumpf Studio, dual motor drive and a 50 kWh battery supports an all-electric range of up 330 kilometers. It is supposed to reach 100 kilometers per hour in 6.7 seconds. At this point, everything remains nothing more but pure speculation, with more information coming in the next few months.
Model 3 is scheduled to debut in 2017, priced at around 38,000 USD.
