Tesla Model X can also tow a glider airplane as shown in an amateur video, taken by the german airplane enthusiats Jonas Schwengler from the backseat of the car.
With powerfull electric motors and a lot of instant torque Tesla Model X was able to tow a two seat ASK-21 glider airplane into the air. The towing team used a 370 meters long rope, brought airplane to the altitude of 250-320 meters, so that it was able to continue flight on its own, and consumed 3 percent of battery capacitiy.
