Toyota has plans to introduce its first all electric car for China in 2020.

According to Toyota's senior managing officer and CEO for China Hiroji Onishi, Toyota will use the technology, which they already nurtured in hybrid electrification of their cars. They will also develop further hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, supported by infrstructure, which started by opening of their first hydrogen station in China.

Toyota already offers hybrid versions of Corolla and Levin in China, which will get upgrade with plug-in hybrid technilogy in near future.
