At the Auto Shanghai motorshow Volkswagen presented I.D. Crozz, its third concept elecrtric car for the near future, which will enter series production soon after 2020.

Zero emission Volkswagen will of course have 225 kW electric powetrain with batteries fully integrated in the vehicle floor. The batteries will store enough power for more than 500 kilometers of electric driving with speeds up to 180 km/h and they will also have the possibility of fast charging up to 80 percent in 30 minutes. I.D Crozz will also be able to drive autonomously, a feature Volkswagen calls "I. D. Pilot" mode. Concept is conceived as sports crossover.

I.D. Crozz, based on Volkswagen's new electric platform MEB, will be a very roomy car and according to Volkswagen it will boast with more space than even interior of Tiguan Allspace.
