Two-time Wimbledon winner Andy Murray has fulfilled the promise he made for the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) in March and became one of the first owners of the new electric Jaguar I-Pace on the World Environment Day.

His Jaguar I-Pace was brought to him by the Formula E driver of the Panasonic Jaguar Racing and the WWF ambassador Nelson Piquet Jr., who visited the tennis star at his training camp where Murray is preparing ahead of the grass court season.

When he took over his car, Murray said: "It's important we all take small steps to live a more sustainable life and think about the actions we can make to look after our planet. This is one of the reasons I'm making the switch to driving Jaguar's new all-electric I-PACE. It's clean and safe, but also has the world class design and sports performance that suits my lifestyle."
