A company Neonode has come up with a gadget that will bring touch-screen functionality to any PC. Its a slim sensor that magnetically latches onto the bottom of your Chromebook or Windows laptop's display and connects via USB. Once you've plugged it AirBar blankets your display with "an invisible light field," which Neonode refers to as "zForce AIR technology."

The reason you can use anything to touch is that the light field reacts to any disturbance. So raise your hand and make sure you're first in line. Price: $49.
