Apple's next major iOS update is coming in fall 2015

Are you also one of those people, who receive calls from unknown numbers and then spend a fair amount of time contemplating whether they should answer the phone or not? The latest iOS 9 makes it possible to uncover your secret caller by searching through all the data stored in your e-correspondence and checking if the person in question might have emailed you previously. If the system manages to locate the number in your emails, your hidden caller's identity will be revealed.

Apple presented iOS 9 as being smarter and faster than the previous versions, emphasizing its proactivity. For example, when you plug in your headphones, iOS 9 will automatically open the Music App to your favorite playlist and if you get an invitation to a business meeting or a conference via email, iOS 9 will automatically detect it as well, add the specifics to your calendar and promptly notify you about your engagement. Moreover, the system is also capable of suggesting when it is advisable to leave a certain location in order to make it to your meeting in a timely manner. It will even offer advice on taking the fastest route there.

Apple has also been working on optimization improvements, making the operating system more efficient. With battery life prolonged, iPhones are supposed to run smoothly for an entire hour more, providing average usage conditions. iPhone also features a brand new Low Power Mode that can add up to three hours of battery life by for example turning off automatic Mail fetch and disabling background app refresh, motion effects, and animated wallpapers.
