As you perhaps remember, Apple is constructing its new a $5 billion headquarters in Cupertino, California. Needless to say, it's going to be very unique and sci-fi-like.
Gregory Han from Design Milk was invited to check out how the interior of the 2.8 million square-foot offices will look like. Apparently, among other cool things, Apple has commissioned 500 custom-made tables from a Dutch company called Arco.
The new solid white oak Apple table is said to be 18-foot-long and 4-foot-wide, weighing 660 pounds. Reportedly, it is a custom-made version of Arco's Essenza table as seen on their website. It looks the same, only it's longer (twice the size of the original table).
According to Han, the 500 tables, together with 300 Essenza tables, and 200 other benches, will be installed by crane and dolly within Apple Campus 2.
