Electric bicycles are not something new, but this clever device, which turns your ride into an electric one, is!

A fully electric bicycle can cost you a pretty penny, so some think twice before actually getting one. If you, despite lack of funds, wish to enjoy the breeze riding all-electric, GeoOrbital developed a cheaper, yet equally cool solution!

GeoOrbital is a device that replaces the front wheel of your standard bike. It comes in 2 sizes to cover over 95% of all adult sized bicycles. If your bike has a 26in, or 700c (also compatible with 28in and 29in) front wheel and uses rim brakes, the GeoOrbital wheel with a flat-proof solid foam tire will fit.

The installation is simple and quick - it takes under 60 seconds and no tools to install. Everything needed to power your bike is included in the wheel.

It uses a 500W Brushless DC motor that will get you to 20 miles per hour in just 6 seconds, with a range of up to 50 miles. If you need to go faster, you can always use the pedals for additional power.

The device comes with a built in USB outlet that lets you charge your phone, bike lights, or even a speaker on the go. You can easily remove the battery from the wheel and let it dub as a massive portable power bank.

The GeoOrbital wheel (created by a team that used to work for SpaceX, built electric vehicles with Ford and built micro-businesses with the Peace Corps) is compatible with nearly every bicycle.
