Philips presented the BT6000, a new addition to the range of portable speakers wireless . Sound is spread through double pairs of transducers and passive radiators , located on opposite sides of the speaker and matched to a Digital Sound Processing (DSP). The power output is 12W , with a ' estimated range in about 8 hours and the speaker is protected against splashes.

Connectivity includes Bluetooth (version 4.0) and NFC in addition to a USB port (for charging) and to an audio input jack of 3.5 mm, useful to connect devices not equipped with wireless connection.
