Today at 18 pm Scoutee will launch a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter.
Scoutee is a very small and innovative radar device that is revolutionizing the way speed measurements are performed in sports. In the first phase, focus is on young baseball players and their coaches. The palm-sized radar device measures the speed of the ball and transfers data via Bluetooth to the user's smartphone, where players can determine other parameters of the pitch and record a video with pitch data overlaid. They can then easily share their results and videos with friends, coaches, or scouts.
Scoutee's goal is to provide baseball players and coaches all over the world with a tool they can easily use to measure pitching speed, determine pitch parameters, and track their progress over time. The custom app provides history, video with pitch data overlay, data and video analysis, and social sharing. Players can instantly access months of training data and videos on their mobile device. In order to provide players and coaches with a reliable tool for their trainings.
The Scoutee team has been working on development for the last year and received a seed investment from the Bulgarian Eleven Accelerator Venture Fund in January 2015. They are now moving to Kickstarter to raise funds for production of the first batch of devices.
