In a time, when there is so much talk about protecting one's privacy and personal integrity, also in terms of mobile phone security, it was never a matter of if, but only when we will be able to welcome a mobile phone, offering something more for our peace of mind.
Two companies, Ercom and Logic Instrument, jointly created a safe, smart mobile phone called Fieldbook Secure, which makes sure your calls, messages and data transfers are secured both on the phone itself and during transmission (courtesy of built-in encryption), over Wi-Fi and all major networks. What makes it all possible is the CryptoSmart-Mobile Suite, software that combined with Smart Card provides for safe communication (software can be installed on any Android mobile phone out there).
The dual-SIM Fieldbook Secure runs on Android Lollipop 5.0, powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek processor, backed up by 2GB of RAM. You shouldn't experience any problems browsing the web or streaming media, since it supports 4G LTE. The headset's 6-inch screen comes with Full HD 1080p resolution, a 13-megapixel back camera and a 2-megapixel front one.
With Fieldbook Secure it's not only your private stuff that is secured. It can survive a drop of 1 meter and endure even unexpected infiltrations of dust and dives into the water (full IP68 certification). Being so strong and resistant makes it, on the other hand, quite heavy – it weighs 270g, which is a lot more than your usual phone.
