A team of british architects and Tolkien fans is raising funds to build a real version of the city of Minas Tirith in Northern England. All they need is $2.89 billion dollars. Help make it happen.

Indiegogo campaign to build Minas Tirith in real life has been launched. They want to build a full size replica of the famous white city from Lord of the Rings. "We believe that, in realising Minas Tirith, we could create not only the most remarkable tourist attraction on the planet, but also a wonderfully unique place to live and work. We are currently considering two locations for Minas Tirith, both in southern England," said the team of architects and structural engineers headed by Jonathan Wilson.

If funded, work will begin at the end of 2016, with the goal of finishing by 2023. All fans can donate here. And what will you get for, let's say, 154.000 dollars? They offer you exclusive access to all areas of the city, excluding private residences and businesses, and also permits use of horse-drawn carriages for transport. Well, for 770 dollars you could spend a night in the city but and for only 5 dollars they will follow you on Twitter. Is that enough for you?
