According to Hyundai, both cars are very suitable for offering taxi services, since the fuel cost of driving the hybrid and the cost of electricity when driving the e-version is quite low - you'll quickly realize you'll get your money's worth rather quickly, if you decide to buy Ioniq Hybrid or Ioniq Electro.

Due to low or zero local emissions and quiet running of the motor, these cars make a perfect partner for a nice urban drive. And with a rather spacious interior, they also offer enough comfort for all the passengers. 

Both Ioniq versions, equipped for taxi drivers (the thing that stands out the most is of course the taxi meter, mounted underneath the roof just above the rear-view mirror), are already available in Germany.
